Three College of Medicine postdoctoral fellows recently received honors during the UC National Postdoc Appreciation Week poster presentation Sept. 18 to 22.

Shannon Conrey, PhD, Environmental and Public Health Sciences, was one of three people to receive a first-place award. Her poster was “Early Formula Supplementation Rates are High and Differ Among Infants by Maternal BMI Class in the PREVAIL Cohort.” Two of the three second-place recipients were Ayusman Dash, PhD, Cancer Biology, for his poster “A Short Ultra-conserved Element in the PRPS1 Promoter is a Regulatory Node for YY1 Activity” and Tyler Benson, PhD, Cardiology, for his poster “Vascular Smooth Muscle Cell-specific Deletion of Protein Kinase R-like Endoplasmic Reticulum Kinase Attenuates Microbiome-enhanced Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm.”

Posters were presented by postdoctoral fellows from six UC colleges, Cincinnati Children’s, Miami University and Central State University. Award recipients received funds to be used for professional development.
