Pediatric Pathology Fellowship

The Fellowship Program in Pediatric Pathology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is one of the longest-standing such programs in the country, established over half a century ago. It is an ACGME approved program that currently trains two fellows per year in all aspects of pediatric pathology, qualifying them to take the certifying examination in pediatric pathology from the American Board of Pathology.

Our institution is ranked #1 children's hospital in the nation by US News and World Report, offering a learning substrate that is rich and diverse - including approximately 15,000 surgical cases and two million body fluid tests each year. Our large group of about a dozen experienced attending pathologists, specializing in all major subspecialties, provides organized training for our fellows, many of whom have gone on to become leaders in pediatric pathology worldwide.

An optional second year of training is offered to fellows interested in in-depth subspecialty research at our institution, which is the second-highest NIH grant-funded children's hospital in America.  For further information, please visit the Cincinnati Children's Pathology website.
