The social determinant of health focus is social and community context. Su Casa works extensively with Latinx/Hispanic populations across Cincinnati, many of whom have had to endure unique and significant hardship on a difficult journey from their birth country to the U.S. (or have family who have done so). Many folks face considerable obstacles when trying to thrive in the U.S., and Su Casa exists to help overcome those barriers.
