We are currently seeking to hire Research Assistants, Graduate Students, and Postdoctoral Researchers.
Studies in the lab seek to understand how neuron-microglia interactions contribute to synaptic plasticity in physiological and pathological conditions. The lab uses multiple molecular and cellular techniques to examine neurobiological adaptations that shape behavior and cognition, including: flow cytometry/ fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS), cell type-specific RNA-Seq, neuropharmacology, viral-mediated gene manipulations, neuronal modulation via chemogenetics, knock-out/ inducible Cre-recombinase transgenic mice, and confocal microscopy/ 3D image analyses.
All researchers will be provided with extensive training in research areas with which he/she is less familiar; and we will develop an individual training plan suited to your professional and personal goals.
