The Thoracic Residency Program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and accepts applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applicants must register with BOTH the NRMP and ERAS.
The Thoracic Residency Program at the University of Cincinnati participates in the Universal Interview Offer Date. Invitations to interview will be sent on Friday, October 27, 2023. Deadline for applicants to respond is Sunday, October 29, 2023, 12:00 am EST. Applicants will receive confirmation of interview on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Application Requirements
All offers are contingent upon successful completion of the credentialing and hiring processes prior to the start date. Credentialing requirements include, but are not limited to, obtaining appropriate licensure to practice medicine in the State of Ohio, verification of medical school graduation, and any previous residency training, verification of any previous medical licenses and the passing of a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
