Research Focus

Bogdanov lab aims to improve our understanding of how the discrete elements of the blood clotting system contribute to the development and progression of solid malignancies, and cardiovascular disease. The emphasis is on those avenues of investigation that hold the maximal promise to qualitatively advance patient care – from new approaches to predictive & prognostic assessments to novel therapeutic compounds. To achieve our goals, we actively collaborate with basic scientists, translational researches, and clinicians.
