The Varsity Village Imaging Center offers a world-class facility housed right on the campus of the University of Cincinnati (UC).

Advanced Technology

Our center features the 1.5 Tesla Siemens Espree scanner, a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system that combines cutting-edge imaging technology with the comfort of an open system.

The accessability of the open MRI machine essentially allows UC doctors to take an image of an injury that occurs in the first quarter of a football game and have a diagnosis and outlook on the student-athlete by halftime.

The Siemens Espree scanner, which has an opening that is over two feet in diameter, is much larger than a typical scanner. This allows for comfort for all patients and ease of use for those with larger physiques, especially student-athletes. The scanner has the ability to accomodate patients up to a maximum weight of 550 pounds.

Conveniently located in the heart of Varsity Villlage on UC campus, we are also just minutes away from many other medical facilities. The imaging center is located in the Varsity Village Garage under the UC Tennis Center on Corry Street

Timely Appointments

We can quickly accommodate all patients, including local athletes who need immediate answers about their injuries. We’re open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but can also arrange times to meet your needs.
