Our goal is to support all our residents in becoming successful, well-rounded physicians. From time on the ward to didactic sessions to individualized feedback, every educational experience is thoughtfully designed with the guidance of our faculty who are international leaders in medical education with adult learning theory in mind. The program emphasizes individualized feedback and a continual eye toward improvement to allow every resident to grow toward independent practice and achieve their career goals.Through experiences at both the main University Hospital and the VA Medical Center, our residents care for a diverse population from all parts of our Cincinnati community. In addition to a robust inpatient, ICU, and subspecialty experience, residents also take part in our unique Long Block program which allows you to spend a year as the primary care provider for your own patient panel. You will also have the opportunity to customize your learning to fit your goals our comprehensive selection of elective rotations.
We would love the opportunity to introduce you to our incredible residents who continue to foster a community committed to excellence in patient care, dedicated advocacy for our patients and communities, inclusivity and belonging, and opportunities for continual learning and improvement.
